NATIONAL READING DAY
“Give your Kids the Gift of Reading Books”
Every year on 14June, National Reading Day is observed.Reading is a skill that every youngster should develop.
We generally ignore the value of books and how much of a difference they can make in people's lives, particularly in children's lives. There is no better value you can impart to a youngster than a love of reading if you want to help him or her succeed in school and in life.Reading interventions are most effective with young children, and it is far more difficult to change a child's reading skills and interest after he or she enters middle or late elementary school.Reading is a form of cognitive development in itself.
With their many textures and flaps, sturdy board books are an excellent method to introduce your infant to literacy. Reading is essential for solidifying one's knowledge base. We are attempting to instil in younger children a lifelong love of reading. We're attempting to raise awareness about the importance of early literacy, particularly for students in pre-kindergarten through third grade.
We are distributing comic books that teach a lesson too, making an attempt to demonstrate to children that reading books can be enjoyable, gratifying, and worthwhile. We also encourage adults to read books, and comic books can be a good place to start.
Deshraag urge people to donate old books and reading material for the underprivileged kids.
